Trying to figure this out, keep hitting a dead end. I’ve added the opening and closing tags. And I’ve also put them in “container div” What is the issue?

you’ve nested the markers.
But they just wanted them to be separate divs, side by side.

Not too sure what that means. My code still doesn’t pass.

Never mind I passed.

the nesting of elements usually looks like this:

<div>
  <div>
   <div>
   </div>
  </div>
</div>

So nesting means you placed some element inside another one.

Placing things side by side means closing the element before starting a new one for eg.

<div></div>
<div></div>
