this is my code so far what does it mean I only need one? I believe I only have one a tag, so where is the extra one(s) I need removed? My link shows that it works but it keeps saying that error and won’t let me move on to the next step.

To surround and element means to put something both before and after it. Do you see where you are missing something after the image? Look again at how you created the “cat photos” link, especially after those words.
