Tell us what’s happening:

I don’t quite get what I’m supposed to do here like is the target an opening tag and how do I assign it with the value _blank like I’m so confused right now.

The target attribute uses the same syntax as your other attributes (e.g. href, src etc), which is attribute="value". So, inside your opening anchor tag, add a target attribute and give it the value _blank. You can add multiple attributes to the same opening tag, simply by separating them with a single space.

The result of adding adding this particular attribute is that, when the link is clicked, it will open a new webpage for the link, rather than redirecting away from the current page.
