the hint the system gave me is The second radio button should not have the checked attribute. Im not sure which one that would be.

I don’t think the hint told you to remove every single occurrence of the attribute ‘checked’ you could find. You still need to put it in there somewhere.

Make the first radio button and the first checkbox selected by default.

I don’t see where you have made the first radio button and first checkbox checked by default.

n order to make a checkbox checked or radio button selected by default, you need to add the checked attribute to it. There’s no need to set a value to the checked attribute. Instead, just add the word checked to the input element, making sure there is space between it and other attributes.

Make the first radio button and the first checkbox selected by default.

I still dont quite understand after I placed the checked at the end of the inputs

Your most recent code doesn’t have checked anywhere? Do you have a version you haven’t posted in this thread where you put checked in ONLY the first radio button element and the first checkbox element.

I finally got it correct thank you for the help. I just had to type checked for the first input in each fieldset
