Challenge: Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 17

Link to the challenge:

all of your input don’t have closing “>”.

I have added the closing input, both with and without / closing tag, but it doesn’t accept it :frowning:

I thought input is a self closing tag

May be you are missing type of input?
Example: (Name we give text, email give “email”, password give “password”

it doesn’t say anything about adding type just yet… I will keep trying some different things. Thank you very much!

  • delete all ids in input elements (where did you find the instruction to add any attribute to the input elements?
  • close all input elements with a right angle bracket:
<element> … the tag should look like this

OHMY thank you so much, I am not sure… But it got fixed! I have been stuck for hours so thank you!
