Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 64

This step asks me to add inline class to the HTML. I did add it, but I still get the error “you should give the input a class of inline”. I looked up to see if others have faced this problem, but the responses indicate that the color of the anchor element needs to also be changed in the css, but there’s nothing like that asked in the challenge. What am I missing?

Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 64

You appear to have created this post without editing the template. Please edit your post to Tell us what’s happening in your own words.
Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.
Also, the more you say, the more we can help!

Hello and welcome to the forum.
You are not supposed to add anything to your CSS. Remove your a selector. You are supposed to add a class attribute with the value set to inline in your input
In this one:

I didn’t add it. It was already there when I clicked on the css tab. I tried removing it and submitting, but it still didn’t work. I still get the same error even though I have already added the inline class to the terms-and-conditions input element.

you have the class attribute twice, maybe try only once?

Still not working. I get the same error.

what’s your code now?

yes! here the instructions on how to format code correctly:
When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

Here is the new code.

reset the step, your input ended in the wrong place, and add the class again

I reset multiple times but that didn’t change anything. I went back and redid 63 and then came to 64. This fixed the task and I was able to submit it successfully.
Thanks so much for your help!
