Lost Code while building Tribute Page

I lost all my code while I was building out my tribute page. I was clicking back and forth between several code camp tabs and other tabs, got confused as to which page I was currently in and hit the MENU button.
I lost hours of code in that split second. I guess I should have been saving the code but is there another way or chance it might still be somewhere?
Seems so silly to ask but I’m really bummed and finding it very hard to motivate to start all over.
I suppose the silver lining is that theres a lesson learned and as I’m just starting out it gives me a chance to re-code and maybe it’ll settle in even more. I cannot help but feel so frustrated, though. And it actually happened twice but the first time I hadn’t done much so it was no big deal I could remember everthing I’d done up to that point, but this, this was so much work…gone. ugh
I’m ready to hear others stories, advice, ideas, tips and tricks…lets commiserate!

Yupp, it’s gone
We learn as we code, so good luck ig

This is the best way to look at it imo.

It would be nice if it had more persistence though.

It might be a good idea to do the majority of your coding locally in VSCode or other platforms like codepen or collab where it will get saved automatically. A good chance to check out these other tools and platforms as well.

Thank you! So grateful for your suggestions, I’ll add those platforms to my tool box!
