Machine learning beginner

I have recently started my interest in machine learning. I have a good background in maths, programming fundamentals and statistics.
I have also just finished a course on python fundamentals so I have a good understanding of the basics of python.

I now want to start learning algorithms, but al the courses say I have to have python experience. So I just want to know how much experience. Do I have enough python knowledge to start with algorithms and machine learning or do I need to expand my python skills??

It depends: Do you want to make 'modules or ‘train modules’ ? Today these are very different, but each accessible paths

Yet no way you can ‘generalize’.

I am not familiar with the differences? At the moment I just want a starting point to get in to machine learning. I am at level 0 and would just like some guidance please.
