need help CSS files and images aren't loading

I started typing know in phpstorm and I have a problem that my CSS files and images aren’t loading in the browser and when I debug I see this error

Refused to apply style from ‘URL’ because its MIME type (‘text/html’) is not a supported stylesheet MIME type, and strict MIME checking is enabled.

html is not a stylesheet, i think your css could have its type = “text/html” instead of css
i.e <link rel=“stylesheet” type=“text/css” href=“mystyle.css”>
This could be the problem
