Hello ,
I am not able to access freecodecamp’s curriculum section . I am from India and my ISP is JIO . I have contacted them regarding the issue and they are saying that it is the issue of site . So please help
At least one ISP (Jio) has blocked learn.freecodecamp.org (or the service that hosts it) as of the beginning of the month. This is done at the discretion of the ISP and FCC can’t prevent it. You can try using a VPN or connecting to another network. You can also try contacting your ISP to request that they stop blocking us.
From the past 4-5 Days i have been unable to access https://learn.freecodecamp.org/
I am from India and my room-mate also uses FreeCodeCamp but he has also been unable to access FCC. Today he found out that using VPN he can access FCC. What is this problem, anyone else from Asia also facing this??? BTW i can still access the home page and the forum (without VPN) but not the challenges… Please Help (I can open the homepage but not the curriculum)
Hey Mayank,
Your Internet Service Provider(ISP) is blocking learn.freecodecamp.org (or, more likely, the service it’s hosted on). This is totally under the control of your ISP and freecodecamp cannot do anything about it.
Even i am from India and i can access the website.
Are you able to access https://www.freecodecamp.org OK?
What about https://about.freecodecamp.org?
Also, which part of India are you in?
@aditya_p is right that it is most likely an ISP issue, but there may be a way we can fix this through the CDN.
OK … That Is Possible
The about.freecodecamp.org is working but not freecodecamp.org (actually it does opens up but as i go to curriculum it says site can’t be reached). And Sir, I am from North India
try using psiphon… switch it to other country … or try changing the sim if u are using jio to airtel if possible…
Which specific city in North India?
Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh To Be Specific
The same problem facing at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. I am using JIO.
curriculum page is not working in any browser on pc or mobile. But remaining pages like forum settings are working well. It shows the following message in chrome
This site can’t be reached
The connection was reset.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET
this curriculum was not working in ay other browser also.
A few users have reported this lately. It seems to depend on their internet connection points and I think all the reports I’ve seen have been from users in India, so I suspect it has something to do with an ISP.
yes iam from india, from yesterday night onward it was not working . But before that it was worked well.
Hey i got the problem . I simply changed my mobile data usage from one network to another network. Now it was working well. Thank you very much.
Glad you got it figured out. Happy coding!
can you tell me which network were you using before and which network are you using now?
Before i have used jio and now i have changed it to airtel.
okay, i too did the same and its working now.
