It doesn’t sound like it, no. I agree that it would be a helpful feature, though. It’s a shame fCC seems to have decided against this option.
True. But hiring managers and those involved generally in the hiring process won’t look at most certs. Specifically those concerning web dev. The way you show you competence in certain areas are through your projects and prior work experience if you have it.
As someone who is self taught and landed a developer role, none of my interviews looked at my certs. If I had like an AWS cert or something like that, then maybe they would have looked at that. But all they cared about was what I did with the information I learned in the courses and that came through my personal projects I built. And that aligns with a lot of self taught devs who landed jobs.
