Relational Database Certification for Newbies

Hello Everyone

My name is Fred.

I am here for training in order to pass the Relational Database Certification.

I have tried to follow up the path, but it is really confusing. Initially for setting up the workspace environement and start building the “Mario Database”, I am stuck with Gitpod and Linux command inside my VS Code Desktop.

I really need some guidance please. I have completed SQL Basics lessons on Youtube and now I want to complete some project and get a certification.

Here are top 5 fields I want to master: Datawarehousing - ETL - EDA - Dashboarding - Reporting

If you are using gitpod I suggest doing everything in gitpod

Anyway to start CodeRoad, you should have the command available in the command palette, use that to start the CodeRoad course

Thanks for your revert. I got it…

Is there any issue to refresh the CodeRoad? After 7% of progress I give a wrong answer and now the CodeRoad freeze, even if I provide the correct answer it is not progressing no more.

what happens if you write the right command? wht command are you writing?

you can try the Reset button

I finally persist and complete the first lesson. Thanks for your assistance.
Just to be sure of how its works, do I need to save my progress or it is done automatically?
I suppose to continue tommorow with the next lesson

Congratulations on completing “Learn Bash by Building a Boilerplate”!

if you want your work to be saved you need to save it yourself, the only thing saved is the checkmark that you completed the course: check that the project is marked as completed in freeCodeCamp, and then continue with the next one

Hello Dear @ILM

I am facing a problem with gitpod.

Since I have started the relational database certification path on freecodecamp, I understood that the service is available in free access. I have completed 6 of the 14 lessons, and this morning Gitpod shared an alert saying that: " You have reached the usage limit of your billing account."

I am trying to understand the alternatives I have to complete the certification. Thanks for your assistance.
