After I finished all my 500 credits in Gitpod, I try to continue work in progress in different way that using docker with VS code. But, before I start that I worry about whether it is saved or not. In addition, how can I submit after I finish all my work done! is that automatically submitted like using Gitpod?

You will get another 500 credits again after a month period. You can always use the off-grid to learn the material and when your receive more credits pass it for the sake of a completion mark.
