I was around 75% of my way through the course material for the Responsive Web Design cert courses. From around 10 minutes ago my course progress seems to have been reset and the course structure looks to have changed. Can someone help me? I don’t want to start from the beginning again
Welcome there,
Recently we have released the new Responsive Web Design Curriculum.
You were likely working on the now legacy curriculum, which you can still finish here: https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/responsive-web-design/
Hope this clarifies
Same thing happened to me. I had just started the project section.
@Sky020 Is the certification for the legacy course still valid or would you recommend getting certified on the new course?
Welcome @kyleebustamante
The certifications are exactly the same. All you need to claim a certification is to complete the 5 certification projects (which are the same for both curricula).
It is up to you, whether you want to continue with the legacy curriculum, or start doing the new curriculum.
Thank you. I was in a similar boat, having gone through the first two parts of the course and on the third part. Has the content of the curriculum changed any? Or is it just a change in the format of how it looks when presented?
the new certification is in a new format, with also updated topics (the other one was starting to feel its age in certain sections)
Thanks - new format is looking great and I love that it’s structured around clearer, more practical examples. Just didn’t want to lose my original progress as I was so far through
