Run VS Code for FCC instead of Integrated IDE

Hello fellow programers!

I’m having the hardest time trying to figure out how to use VS Code in my FCC lessons instead of the integrated IDE. Is this possible? I found this link from GitHub but having trouble trying to install and run the program or extension. Your help is greatly appreciated!

This isn’t something that is officially supported in any way, so I have no clue how to do it.

Here is an extension that I found using Github that pertains to what I want to do… Do you think this would work?

An extension for Visual Studio Code to aid in maintaining the freeCodeCamp curriculum.

Are you attempting to do maintenance on the curriculum or to do the curriculum?

Dangit, this is embarrassing… well I am not trying to maintain the FCC website, I’d like to just use VS Code instead of the integrated IDE… Guess its not possible.

I’m not aware of any way to do it. Copy-paste is what most people do if they are committed to never using the Monaco editor that’s on fCC.
