Seeking advice on Data Analytics career - Biology/chem bg 0 programming experience

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all good. This is my first post on FreeCodeCamp and I need your advice. I am thinking about transitioning to a career in data analytics but I am confused which things to learn from FreeCodeCamp. I would explain my bg and what I want to do with this data analytics career and then maybe you all can give me advice on what to learn or what not to learn wether from freecodecamp or other sources.

Background
Always studied biological & chemical sciences. Did bachelors in Microbiology where I worked on a bacterial fermentation project to make bioplastics using plastic waste. Also did some science publications. Then did a triple masters in Biological & Chemical engineering where I studied lots of different things like Life Cycle Analysis of products, sustainable development, etc. But my specialization was more on biobased materials. Also along with masters I worked in research projects of making cellulose fibres for functional textiles applications. From my research you must have noticed that plastic & textile waste are two problems I really want to work in. After masters, found a job in France that was management of research projects & partnerships, so really customer facing roles.

Why I want to transition ?
I want to learn data analytics because I feel it could help me revive my scientific bg that I lost in my last job. I took that job as I had no other option & I am an immigrant in France. With data analytics I finally want to use it for analyzing trends in plastic/textile waste management or mostly in environmental issues. I could also learn something that is called Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) which basically measures the impact of a product from it’s manufacturing to end of life usage. But I believe that Data analytics could be better in terms of long term career stability & would ultimately help me form a basis for many other future careers.

Skills I have in programming
0. I have no programming skills. I have basic excel skills and data analysis skills which I used during my research but that’s it. I figured out that I need to learn Excel, SQL & Tableau/Python for now to have a full fledged career in data analytics. I want to do this transition in max 6 months.

Actual question
Considering all that I have explained above, do I need to take all courses in order in freecodecamp curriculum to reach to the data analytics part or I can simply take the data analytics parts ? I found that it is linked to previous courses in freecode camp and it would not be useful for me to learn that and needs alot of time. What do you suggest me to do ? Where do I learn this from espcially using labs ? If you know any free resources, let me know. Also, is this a goal too ambitious to do in 6 months when I have alot of other commitments ? How many hours per day or per week this would require if you guys have experience in this.

THANK YOU EVERYONE !!!

data analysis is Python, you can start from Computer Scientific with Python.
