I’d say change the font color to white to improve contrast.
Other than that, it’s not a bad site.
Certainly far better than my first site haha.

Pretty cool tribute page, Nelson Mandela is very interesting to learn about. One thing that jumps out at me is I think the link at the end of the page in blue (at " You can read more about this great African icon here.") is a bit of an eye strain, it might be good to change it so it’s a lighter shade because it’s hard to read from the white text to dark blue. Otherwise, the rest of it is very easy to read.
I’d also center the caption or make it line up with the image (“Nelson Mandela, the People’s President”) and see if you can make it look obvious it’s a caption rather than a subtitle or something like that.
