Use Conditional Logic with If Statements 2

Hey Guys, when I run the tests I keep getting this comment:
// running tests

trueOrFalse(true) should return "Yes, that was true"

// tests completed

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Your code so far

// Example
function ourTrueOrFalse(isItTrue) {
  if (isItTrue) {
    return "Yes, it's true";
  }
  return "No, it's false";
}

// Setup
function trueOrFalse(wasThatTrue) {

  // Only change code below this line.
  if (wasThatTrue) {

      return "It was true";
  }
     return "No, that was false";

  // Only change code above this line.

}

// Change this value to test
trueOrFalse(true);

Your logic looks correct, I believe the issue lies in the string that you are returning for when it is true. I would double check what you are returning versus what string the challenge wants you to return.

You are missing the following test

trueOrFalse(true) should return "Yes, that was true"

Your code returns

"It was true"

for

trueOrFalse(true)

Thank you. I did figure it out but there doesn’t appear to be a way to delete a post once it’s submitted.
