To be honest, I’ve been coding just for the sake of learning how to (I know that’s not really the way to do it), but that was when I was learning with Codecademy. I’ve just discovered freeCodeCamp recently and I really like it and I am now waiting for some projects!
So far I’ve been learning with Codecademy, but most of their courses are down for updates.

Hi. I’m Yanek located in Istanbul, Turkey. After a fair amount of time hitch-hiking, busking, living penniless and dropping out of universities (French & Farsi language and literature) I decided to make my childhood dream come true and become a coder. I have started learning via youtube, even got few freelance jobs and GitHub projects but I have come this far while completely ignoring JavaScript and some basic HTML and CSS approach. So I decided to learn from bottom to up using freeCodeCamp.
Hi everyone, my name’s Jake, and I decided to start learning to code because it’s something I’ve always had an interest in, and also I’d like to be more productive in my free time. Right now, I’m pretty much using freeCodeCamp and YouTube tutorials to learn. I came in with a very basic knowledge of HTML from fiddling around in middle school. I also attempted a computer science major for a couple quarters in college before finally settling on a business degree.

I have some knowledge with HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery, applescript etc., but i’m without experience in web development.

I started on Khan academy learning JS, but i felt like it was a little slow so i found FCC on quora and basically have been and am planning to continue using to further my knowledge.
Hello! I am Si Thu, from Myanmar. I am a student of Myanmar Aerospace Engineering University, which you might not heard of it. I was interested in coding since high-school. When I get this university, C++ was included as a subject. That make me more interested in coding. Another one reason is, to be honest, web developer was paid well. I’ve learnt coding using apps, read books, but couldn’t get so fur like in this FCC. Thanks for this awesome website.
