Welcome to freeCodeCamp's forum

Hi! I’m Emina and I’m a high school student. I really love coding and I’m trying to learn it.

Hello everyone,

I’m Bartek and I’m learning to code because I want to get a better job.

I’ve been always starting lots of tutorials about coding but never get a proper informations and guideness so I’m really excited about FCC!

Cheers!

My name is Brendan Donahue and I am learning to code for a Web Dev job.

Hi! I’m Luís from Lisbon, Portugal. I had some limited experience with code when I did computer graphics (3D modeling and animation), since the 2008 crisis 3D projects eventually dried up in my country and I got a job at Lisbon airport where I eventually got promoted to Supervisor and I’m still working there.
On my spare time, I decided to make a reality a long overdue dream I had of coding with the goal that I’ll be able to make a few projects I always wanna to make.
I have a plan, if possible and things work out ok, to code for a living.
I’ve been doing fCC course and I’m loving it.

Cheers,
Luís

Hi I’m Dan,

I’d like to get a development job or start freelancing so I can work from home or travel. What a cool opportunity!

So far I’ve used w3schools.com, Lynda.com, and this great website freecodecamp.com.

Hi everyone,

I am here to learning code because I like it, I always love learn new things, especially about computers and websites.

Greetings to all of you

Hi! My name is Erin, and I am from Louisville, KY. I am learning to code because a number of my friends are interested in coding and CSE, and when I started listening in on their conversations it peaked my interest as well. I have solely been using freeCodeCamp to jumpstart my coding adventure, and I also use W3Schools tutorials if I have any questions! I am still very new at this, but I am excited to see where it takes me.

Hi Everyone,

I’m Paul, I’ve been working in IT for over 15 years in IT infrastructure and project management. I’m leaning to code to expand my knowledge as my current knowledge is limited to scripting.

I have read and watched several tutorials on the web before I found freeCodeCamp and looking forwards to learning something new

Cheers.

Hello! I took classes in front end development and wordpress last year - but became ill and haven’t done anything with it. I’m here to brush up on my skills and learn new ones. My goal is to career change into freelance wordpress design and development.

Hello everyone!

My Name is Estrella, I come from Spain but I’m currently living in Germany.

Really excited about this course

Hello all,
my name is Piotr. I’m a graduate of CS but worked last few years as an Ops person.
I’m learning / refreshing on how to code in order to change my occupation i.e I’d like to work as a Dev.

FCC seems like a great place to refresh and update my skill set and build a portfolio that future employer would take into consideration. Any advice is much appreciated.

Hello, campers!

I have a lot of coding experience, but it was almost 20 years ago. So - here I am getting a refresh through freeCodeCamp. I’ve also taken some Udemy courses.

I really like what I’ve seen at freeCodeCamp.

Hoping to become a contributing member of this community.

Hi i’m Sean

I’m learning to code because I would like to be able to create and manipulate programs and I would like to eventually like to get a job at some point as a programmer.

I have been using some books to help me code but most of them are difficult to follow but my friend suggested freecodecamp and so far it’s actually pretty good.

Hi hi

I am Theo, nice to meet you all.

I'm learning to so I can hopefully find work and improve on my existing coding skills. It feels odd coming from an animator, believe me. I learnt C# while studying at college (I did an animation degree at university. Oh the joys of fixing code that we never learned about)

Hello everybody.
I’m Mohammed, I just started today in FCC

Hello Campers!

I’m Graham, 50yo career changer.

I live near Paris and I’m interested in getting one of my startup ideas to MVP / prototype stage. I’d like to pair with someone sometime soon to work up a non-profit idea - to get the entrepreneur side skilled up too - anyone?

Learning python / Django and android at the same time. Not too convinced about JS backend stack but let’s see when I get that far in the program.

Domains: language learning, shopping, fintech. Gotta hustle…

Great to meet y’all. And great job to the creators of this site - best I’ve come across for cementing skills. I can’t just read books and watch videos all day this seems more constructive.

Hello, I am Pritha.I am doing B.Tech from Indian Institute of Information Technology.I am new to web development.
I hope i’ll learn amazing things here and will utilize my knowledge in future …

Hi, I’m Sanjay and I am new to freeCodeCamp. I stumbled here from a group of “campers”. I want to brush up on my JavaScript/web coding skills, and also want to see how effective the tutorials are for teaching many higher-level programming skills (not just coding and scripting but software design, algorithms, APIs, etc). I know people who are interested in learning, and they may benefit from this platform.

Hope to meet people here, as I go through the tutorials and in the FCC forum/Gitter…

Let’s keep learning!
