Hi my name is Monica. It is nice to meet everyone. I have zero experience coding and have no idea how to go about training in this field aside from signing up for this course. Any recommendations or advice???
I’m new to the community, though I’ve been following the freeCodeCamp YouTube channel for a while. I’ve always appreciated how much thought and effort clearly goes into the resources shared here.
The professional IT world is a new territory for me, but I’ve long been interested in technology and like to think of myself as fairly tech-savvy.
After a lot of research and self-reflection, I’ve come to the conclusion that pursuing a path as a Data Scientist is the best way for me to break into IT and the tech industry, given my background and interests.
I know I have a lot to learn, but I’m eager to put in the work. If anyone here is willing to share some guidance or words of wisdom, I’d be truly grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I’m looking forward to learning from the experience that so many of you bring to this space.

Hi I’m new here. And I’d like to start my first encoding experience with you. Thank You for this opportunity that is given to someone like me. A chance to develop our skills in coding.
Hello, I’m Tim and I am really new to the world of coding. I’m thinking about a career change and I hope I’m not too old for it to happen. You know, old dog, new tricks. lol I’m just browsing around and think I like freecodecamp’s environment and curriculum so I believe I’ll make a go of it here. Wish me luck!
Hello, I’m Rachel. I started learning to code with fCC September 22nd. About a week ago, I joined fCC’s 100 days of code challenge on Discord, and the challenge has been very helpful in keeping me accountable and building momentum towards my goal. I am greatly enjoying the curriculum! After finishing the Full Stack Developer course with fCC, I want to continue studying and specialize in data analytics and machine learning.
Hi everyone!
My name is Lakshya and I’m from India.
I took up Computer Science because I’ve always enjoyed solving problems.
So far, I’ve been learning by reading docs and books (some from the public domain and others from my college library), and through free platforms like CS50, freeCodeCamp and Exercism.
Recently, someone encouraged me to contribute to open-source.
So here I am; wish me luck!
I’m Pro from Kenya, just starting out with algorithms and data structures. I’m learning about sorting, recursion, and time complexity, and I’m excited to grow my skills step by step.
I’d love to connect with other learners — especially beginners — who are working through similar topics. If you’re studying DSA or just getting started, let’s learn together!
Cheers,
Pro Ajx
Hi everyone
I’m Pro Ajx from Kenya. I’m passionate about building practical desktop applications and solving real-world problems through code.
I’m learning to code because I want to create systems that are useful in everyday life — like payroll tools, SACCO management apps, and secure platforms. I also love the challenge of algorithms and how they sharpen my thinking.
So far, I’ve been learning through my college in kenya and hands-on practice. I enjoy breaking down complex topics like recursion and time complexity, and I’m always looking for study buddies to grow with.
My name is AJ. I am passionate about technology. I became interested in Cyber Security and other areas while attending school. I’m learning to code to acquire new skills and to become more knowledgeable about concepts I’ve encountered in my career. I am also attempting to broaden my horizon in terms of employment as someone who has worked as a Security Compliance Analyst. Recently, I’ve been learning to code through YouTube videos and freeCodeCamp. I’m also learning by creating YouTube videos about coding in Spanish.
Hello everyone,
My name is Le.
I am a Salesforce Admin based in Japan.
I love to broaden my knowledge, and freeCodeCamp is a great resource for me.
I recently passed the AWS certification Cloud Practitioner, thanks to the ExamPro video.
Oh, my hat. I’m drowning, please help. My name is Gareth. Since long ago, I’ve had a fascination with computers. Ever since I can remember, I wanted to get into the field of IT but I come from an underprivileged home, and my parents could never afford any IT courses. By the time I could stand on my own feet, the field of IT has evolved so far that it no longer looks recognisable, and with the advancement of AI, it left me feeling like a puppy looking through a telescope. Now I am here, hoping to sieze on this opportunity that I would not have expected, but alas, I am totally and utterly lost without even knowing which way up is. Is there any soul out there that would be willing to point me in the right direction? Where the heck is the starting line? What must I know before I can even begin? I have so many questions, but pointing me to the starting line would be a tremendous help.
