Based on IBM website:
“A VPS, or virtual private server , is a form of multi-tenant cloud hosting in which virtualized server resources are made available to an end user over the internet via a cloud or hosting provider. Each VPS is installed on a physical machine, operated by the cloud or hosting provider, that runs multiple VPSs.”

What do you mean by “how it differs”?
A Cloud VPS is a type of cloud computing that is based on Linux’s Kernel-based Virtual Machine, or KVM.
It is a service that gives you a lot of different resources that you can use as you need them. You usually pay for what you use. As with most web hosting, you pay for a certain
amount of space that you can’t go over. On the other hand, you pay only for what you use, which can help you in many different ways in the long run.
This means that you get a flexible, virtual environment that can grow with you. Most of the things you’ll need for most projects can be found in minutes. With Cloud VPS, you can get on a new server almost right away.
The best part is that you don’t have to move your data or change the settings on your server to do this.
It’s one of the main advantages of a Cloud VPS that it can be easily scaled up or down when you need more or less space.
You might find that your website needs more resources in order to be able to help your site visitors the best it can. It could be that your business is getting smaller, and you don’t need to use all the resources you have now.
With a Cloud VPS, you can easily change your configuration at any time, and it’s very easy to do so. With a few clicks, you don’t have to worry about running out of power. The host node that is in charge of the virtual server can add or remove resources as needed.
