the Full Stack one will replace the core curriculum once it’s finished, right now it has material that covers what Responsive Web Design, JavaScript and Front End certifications cover
you can do one or the other, the Full Stack curriculum is updated and uses a new format
Goto YT and search “full stack developer vs web developer”
1st decide which kind of job you wish to join post learning and choose the learning path accordingly
Everything is BEST / GREAT in IT world IMHO
But why are people saying i should start from first steps then going down? so should i choose what i want to work with and then take the roadmap it says i should?
you have two roads to choose from in the freeCodeCamp curriculum
one is starting at Responsive Web Design and then continue with the others in order
the other possibility is doing the Certified Full Stack Developer Curriculum, it’s the newest, and will replace multiple certifications
When freeCodeCamp releases a new version of their curriculum, they keep both the old and new versions available for an extended time. During the initial phase, the older material is listed in the primary curriculum and the new material is listed separately under the “Beta” category. During this time, the new material is still receiving updates and may contain a noticeable number of bugs. Once the new material has been “hardened”, it replaces the older material in the main curriculum and the advice “Start at the top and work down” will apply to the new material. At this time, the older material is typically moved to a section labeled as “Legacy”. This is to allow anyone who was using the older material time to complete the courses.
