Does one exist? Should we make an IRC channel?
There isn’t a official alternative except these forums and the subreddit (r/freecodecamp).

Hrm… it’s been pretty wonky/unreliable lately. Maybe I’ll write FCC staff and see what they think?
yesterday our group moved to discord. seems to work very nice. also has voice-chat
but im keeping gitter next to it. for fcc / other programming related stuff.
