Blank box below the code

Im trying to write the code.But its written on a blank box just under the line i suppose to write the code and it will disappear once i entered it.What should i do? I cant write any code

What device and web browser are you using?

Can you please screenshot this so we can see more easily what’s going wrong?

Finally, has resetting the lesson code with ‘restart step’ fixed this or does the issue persist?

im using the laptop for coding.I use both internet explorer and opera gx browser.This is the 2nd time the issue happened last time it took 4 days to solve that
The blank boxx appearing right below the code is the problem.
The box appearing in the right side of fifth line
resetting couldnt help the problem

Have you tried using Chrome or Firefox? Sometimes changing to a different browser can solve these kind of issues.

Internet explorer is no longer supported by Microsoft so I’m not sure how well it is supported on freecodecamp.

Same result in chrome and firefox also.Is it a bug of the site?

It seems a renmant of the auto-complete

Im used opera gx for now. But this started to happen from last two weeks

try disabling your browser extensions. (If you don’t know how then google “how to disable browser extensions for opera gx browser” and follow the steps)

I tried but it doesnt disappear.I got the same problem on other browsers too.Is there any setting for auto correct in freecodecamp site?
