Certification Projects: Public Exposure Concern

Hello everyone,

I have an important question regarding the projects required for certifications. I’d like to know if these projects will be publicly visible once the certification is obtained, especially if I were to list it on platforms like LinkedIn.

My concern is that the projects I completed for the HTML/CSS certification, while functional and having met the test requirements, are not aesthetically polished. I wouldn’t want the visibility of these ‘less refined’ works to negatively impact my professional image.

My main worry is that if these certifications are displayed on sites like LinkedIn, potential employers or colleagues might be able to access and directly view those projects.

So, my question is: do I need to worry about making the ‘certification projects’ impeccable from an aesthetic standpoint, given their potential public visibility (e.g., on LinkedIn), or can I continue to focus on technical correctness and the rest of my studies, knowing they won’t be exposed?

the Legacy certifications have the certification projects attached to the certification, in that case yes you need to worry about doing good projects, those projects are clearly marked as certification projects

we will find out about the new certifications when they are released if the certification projects would be attached

any project that is not a certification project would not be saved

What about now that the new certifications are released

it does not look like they are saved to database
