Deleted Relational Database Projects

I would recommend trying to complete each course in one sitting @andrebdinis. That will give you the best chance of something not going wrong. The way progress is currently saved is with browser storage. If you switched browsers between sessions, it will not work. If you did that, I recommend trying to continue the course using the browser you started with.

Yes, the perfect solution is completing in one sitting. But people (me included) usually do not have that much time, because you can get stuck at one challenge or another, or take more time to understand what is asked.

Never changed between browsers; I kept using the same one: Brave.

One question, @moT01 :

  • When a user clicks Start the course, a new tab is opened in his browser, where a new GitPod Workspace is created for this RDB project. Is it recommended not to close this tab?

No, you should be fine to close the tab. If you want to continue the course though, you need to go to your Gitpod dashboard, and continue with that workspace.

Following up on my trial through the Docker option (since the GitPod workspace option is having problems in any course due to not being completed in one sitting), I finished all the challenges for the Learn Bash and SQL by Building a Bike Rental Shop locally on my laptop, but then my freeCodeCamp account was not aknowledging my completion.

I did not complete it in one sitting, again. But this time my progress was not being lost, on my laptop. After getting the final challenge to pass and pressed enter, I thought it would mark as passed in my freeCodeCamp account, but it didn’t.

I spent several hours trying to understand the problem, but I ended giving up and pursued the ā€œIn-one-sitting-completionā€ strategy on GitPod workspace, since I knew that way worked.
