Design Help for Tribute Page- Color Palletes

Hello Everyone

Just looking to get some tips or pointers!

I am building this tribute page Tribute Page

Now it is in early stages and I am just messing aroudn with grid layouts to better understand them to be honest. however…

Are there any sites out there that help with the creative elements. I am the most uncreative person ever! I have the south african flag as the background but the best color pallete i could come up with is grey background with beige and white writing :sweat_smile: and it doesnt look great…

Are there any assistive tools or websites that can help me find color schemes that would work better than my usual black and white dark grey and beige?

When I search for “color palettes for websites” I get hundreds of sites with prebuilt palettes, palette builders, and tools that generate palettes from an image.

For other visual components, I would try searches around the term “design system”.

Also monochrome with good contrasts and one or two accent colors for small elements can go a long way.
