Hey, everyone!
I, like a lot of you, am completely inexperienced as far as coding goes. I’ve done some work on codecademy and few lessons on FCC, but what I’d really like to know is if FCC is a good place to learn what I need to learn in order to become a developer. Like, if I finish these lessons will I be ready to go out and start applying for a job? Are there other resources that I should be supplementing these lessons with? I’ve read a lot about the gaps in knowledge there are in a lot of these free coding tools. I’d just like to be prepared. I’d really like to try to make a career out of the things I’ve learned, so if there is anyone that has taken a similar path and actually landed a developing job I’d love to hear your story/advice. Thank you!

You might want to take a look at this guide (complete) and this one (Get Job ready with one certification …) and a few others already on the forums.
