I think John Duckett’s books are good for the basic concepts on HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
You won’t learn about CSS grid, flexbox or es6 in his books because his books were written a few years ago. You will need to learn those concepts through other sources like FCC.
But I think you can still learn a lot through those books.
I don’t really have any recommendations for front end libraries though.
Libraries and frameworks are always changing so it is tough to find a book that won’t be out of date.
You will probably have better luck reading documentation or articles when it comes to that.
