Can I get a job with FCC by completing all the curriculums and getting job ready?
Is it possible to get a job without a cs degree?
Sure, the curriculum equips you for various roles. It is possible to land a job without a CS degree, however, it’s important to check the minimum qualifications of the role, as most would require a CS degree. A hiring manager once told me non-degree resumes don’t even make it to their table. A degree will make things a little bit easier.
Thank brother for the informing me! I was just going all the way for the curriculum and trying to get a job only with fcc. I was not going to do a cs degree and wanting to get a job without cs degree with fcc
And it’s totally possible, people have done that. But in the future, consider a CS degree.
freeCodeCamp is a good start in becoming job-ready through self-education. It introduces web programming topics in a concrete and meaningful way and it provides a solid foundation for your skills. It is not a direct path to a job. Completing only the coursework and assigned projects will probably not represent enough experience or depth of skill to qualify for a job. (Similarly, if you get a degree but only attend classes and do the minimum to graduate, you are unlikely to get a job.) Programming is a skillset that is built through practical experience.
So, What can I do more? Do some freelance work after I’ve finished Fcc?
I watched a person on YouTube that he got job with doing all projects and curriculums with FCC. His name was Tim Kim. He built projects and made connections and took time. After 4 months, he got job! I want that freedom if mine too! I don’t like college, but I want to do something in my life that I chose to. The work that I should do should be my choice, not someone else’s choice. I have also started a YouTube channel alongside learning. I also play football and want to become a professional footballer in my life. I live in India, the thing that people who love football and want to get into professional career’s are stuck because of politics and corruption in India. Study also comes in, they say, “you can’t make a career in football. It’s just a time waste! You’re wasting your time. The time that you have wasted in football. If you’ve invested that time in your studies, you’ve would have become someone greater.” In INDIA, they prioritize study! not sports! If someone supports sports they are suppressed and made to study. Then they say, “you won’t make it! It’s useless, you will ruin your life!! Study is the only thing that will make you successful in life.”
NOW I ASK YOU A QUESTION:
What If Ronaldo and Messi and our Indian captain, “SUNIL CHETTRI” had listened to them, would they be there where they are right now!?
If they would’ve chose that path to study, they would’ve failed again and again and they were likely to be doing a 20 or 25,000 rupees job! They would suicide instead of living a life like hell like this! They would quit!!
The thing is that the world thinks that what they know is all enough to make someone successful. They think that if they guide someone, they will make someone’s life. But it’s not!
The thing is that if you want to play sports in INDIA! You have to make circles around it, round and round and round again and again and should do something else to get there!
SEE ME! WHAT I’M DOING?! I WANT TO BECOME A PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALLER AND FOLLOW MY PASSION BUT GUESS WHAT?!!
I’M DOING ENGINEERING AND LEARNING CODING AND RUNNING A YOUTUBE CHANNEL FOR FOOTBALL, SO THAT I CAN BECOME A PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALLER???
IT’S RUINED!
LIFE’S JUST…!
