I’m new to all of this (coding). I was wondering do I need to learn to code to become an AWS cloud architect.
I don’t really know anything about AWS specifically, but I know Amazon offers certificates (that are taken at least somewhat seriously). Here’s the link to the cert: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Certification
So maybe find a study guide or course that teaches what you need to know in order to earn that certificate.
Thank you for responding back
Hello and welcome!
Here’s a helpful article by acloudguru that shows the certifications you can choose and what career path might be the best for you:
Includes a PDF diagramm that visualizes the different career paths.
Thanks a lot for the article. It answered a lot of questions. Are you a software engineer? I’m just beginning my journey and trying to figure out which path I want to take. It’s soo many different avenues when it comes to this “software engineer” career tree.
I’m what you call a “Creative Developer”
Web and graphic Designer for a long tme, learned web development during covid, now working as a freelance digital designer and web developer.
If you love design and tech, frontend developer might be an option, as you work on the userfacing side of apps and with design teams.
Hello Daniel, how are you? Do you use AWS in your creative development?
Fine, thanks!
I use Firebase or a headless CMS for smaller projects. I came across AWS and the article above when I started to learn development and was still looking for a direction.
