I recently finished the FCC back end curriculum, as well as a few of the take home projects and am looking to the next step. I have already decided I want to do backend programming and have decided to learn AWS, as the pay seems to be very good. My goal right now is to get an AWS Associate certification via their certification test, but also to try my best to learn the stuff inside and out. I think this is the best way to get a good-paying job in the end.
I am looking for anyone who is interested in pursuing the same course and wants to learn together!
If so please let me know. Thanks!
Looks interesting. I don’t know if it’s worth spending 150USD to get a certificate about a single platform. Are there many job offers asking for specialists on this?
Let me start by saying I don’t know for sure, and I’m not currently employed in the web dev sector (I’m seeking a career change). I’m just a simple camper.
However, based on what I’ve read it seems to have potential. Indeed.com has lots of jobs in the two markets I was looking in (Chicago and Boston), and I read several places that AWS certified specialists get paid six figures on average. Here’s an article that has some good info too, check it out and let me know what you think : )
