How to start contributing to open source as a front end developer

Hi Guys,

I am a self taught front end developer and want to contribute to open source to get some real world experience. I am looking for software/apps where I can contribute as a front end developer. I know html/css/JS/React but have very little to no back end learning experience.

Can you guys recommend some beginner friendly open source that I can help with?

What about freeCodeCamp? GitHub - freeCodeCamp/freeCodeCamp: freeCodeCamp.org's open-source codebase and curriculum. Learn to code for free.
