Hey everyone. I just wanted to thank FCC for the algo challenges for JS. Although I’m not done with them quite yet, it has shown me how big of a role algorithms play and how a language is mostly a tool (I’m familiar with other languages as well).
Cool. Yeah, algorithms get a bad rap, but I think they’re very useful for training the brain. And they’re kind of fun, when they’re not making you want to put your head through the monitor that is. All coding is going to have algorithms to some extent, and a few will be algorithm heavy. But the fact that they are used on a lot of job interviews make them very important.
