Im litterally falling in love with coding, its honestly addictive, I
m actually eating the FCC (first section) courses but I wonder what other resources I should use other than this site to improve my knowledge since I really want this to be my future job.
Some people suggest pairing fCC with another course like The Odin Project. For sure though, make your own versions of the projects as you go and try to push yourself to improve them so you are reusing what you are learning over and over.
we all been there. I would recommend frontendmentor.io take what you learn from FCC and apply it to frontendmentor.io. that is the best real world experience. because they will give you a design and you have to replicate it. using any programing langue since your starting of you can do the newbie challenges. I highly recommend it. that is what im doing. hope this helps.
will give it a look, thank you very much!
thanks a lot, as soon as I finish the first section I`ll give it a try!
I hope you have made choice which career path ( web developer, mobile developer, data scientist etc ) you want to pursue and learning accordingly, instead of learning everything on internet / FCC
I suggest once you finish FCC, start building projects ( more you build more confidence you will get )
I had used frontend mentor for projects building ( on my own without looking at YT videos or others code ), you can check it and other similar once as well.
All the very best.
Thanks a lot for your tips, Im still at the html/css course and I
m so excited to start the java script one, but Im eager to try all of them in order and then making couple of different personal projects to understand what career path I want to pursue and only then I
ll start to apply for a job I guess.
make sure to put all your project building work on “GitHub”
