I completed my challenges up till build a tribute page. When i started on it i knew nothing any suggestions
Pick a subject and find a picture of that subject and write up some interesting things about that subject. You should have been introduced to the concepts of adding an image, text and color to an HTML document. Those are the basic requirements for the Tribute Page in a nutshell. Nothing complicated.
Most people seem lost when they start it, but don’t worry, you can do it. If you need to go back and review some of the previous challenges,do so. In fact, I would recommend that you look over the ones in the Bootstrap section. Also, consult the documentation (http://getbootstrap.com/components/) if you need help.
Its always a good idea to have a picture in your mind or on paper of what you want to make. I would start by looking at the example project: https://codepen.io/freeCodeCamp/full/NNvBQW
Once you have an idea of what it should look like, try to break it down into smaller sections. For the example, I would work on it like this:
Make a gray container element that will hold everything else. Make sure this is in the middle of the page, and add a margin to top and bottom. If for some reason you forget how to center an element, just google it, you should easily find your answer. If you can’t ask here and we can help you.
Have centered title text with a smaller subtitle under it. You may want to look this up in the earlier freeCodeCamp challenges.
Add an image.
Add an unordered list with some info.
Add a link on the bottom to Wikipedia. I’ll help you out here: https://www.freecodecamp.com/challenges/link-to-external-pages-with-anchor-elements. As a bonus try to make it open in a new tab. (Remember Google is your BFF).
Don’t let it scare you. Break it down. Focus on what you know how to do and try to figure out a way to apply it. Go back and look over some sections if you need to. You can do it!
