Most useful courses here on fcc for getting entry level IT Help Desk

Hi, Id like to know which certification here on fcc would be most helpful in getting an entry level IT Help Desk, IT Technical support etc type of job if any please? Which 300 hour certification course would impress an employer along with a Google IT support certification? From looking at the list of courses I’m guessing maybe the first Python course? Thank you IT professionals in advance for taking to the time to read my Topic and questions and for giving me your advice and anyone else that is interested.

Knowing some Python or JS wouldn’t hurt.

But I wouldn’t expect an entry-level Help Desk position to require all that much scripting knowledge. Help Desk is usually phone-duty where you follow a script/checklist for the most common issues (depends obviously). If it requires more than that it will probably get escalated higher up.

I’d say people skills and being able to give good customer service are likely valued higher than technical skills for a lot of such positions.

None of the freeCodeCamp courses are geared toward technical support training. I’m not saying that you wouldn’t get any benefit out of the freeCodeCamp curriculum, but it’s really designed for teaching software development.
