Hi @tropicalchancer. Thanks for clarifying the issue. May I know when will be the cut-off date for the acceptance?

Will it be November 30? According to your medium article.

Sorry for all these questions. As I am really hyped for this voyage and would like to just double confirm if I got selected/rejected before the start of the voyage.

@crypto The acceptance emails have been sent out for the winter voyage which is how I was notified so I would check whatever email you applied with.

@iamknox Oh dear. I have checked all the mailboxes from the email I applied with but still couldn’t find the acceptance/rejection letter.

I already am a well established dev. I have strong credentials when it comes to development in a way I am officially a contributor to Angular CLI.
What I am looking for is management and architect kind of contribution. Wondering if there is any mentor kind of concept here. I already registered as a mentor on co/ment. Not sure if or how I can mentor teams in cohort.

Let me know,

As I understood there was no one date when the mails were sent.
There are so many applications that there is a good chance that @tropicalchancer and his team of volunteers are still not done with them.
Waiting is unpleasant and I was very nervous as well. But be patient. As you posted in this thread I am sure they will double check if your application got lost somewhere and come definitely back to you.

Does anybody have any idea about -Which techs we’re going to use in the voyage3?

I’ve been selected. I’m a newbie and I’m thinking that I could go through the basics of the required skills(JS,React etc.) before the voyage 3 starts. So that I can take part in the group discussions.Just don’t want to hold back my team during the voyage.

Pinging @tropicalchancer too. For any guide pls.

P.S- I’m going through the Git resources in the acceptance email. Please provide suggestions for the coding techs.

Your team decides what technologies to use, it’s not our choice, it’s yours. I would suggest to get comfortable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Git, the rest is a bonus.

Yes I’m going through the FCC Javascript lessons and also the You Don’t know JS books.

I’ve completed the front end cert, and I got accepted to the winter voyage and I’m just reading studying up on JS and then trying to help people on the forums because that’s another great way to learn as well. Good luck with the cohort.

I have a bit of a question. I was accepted, and I’m greatly flattered that I was. However, after thinking about some of the other things I have going on right now, I’ve decided to not participate at this time. I’ve already responded to the email I got. Is there anything else I need to do?

Hi @arhillis!

Thank you for reaching  and nope, as long as you responded to the email you’re all good! You’ll also be getting another email just to have a confirmation via email once I get caught up.

Hello guys, does anyone already got their slack invites?
