Recomendations about front-end

hi, im doing the wed developer course and i have some questions, my idea was to finish thoose proyects, then the javascript course and finally go to a freelancer page so i can work (at least for now, in a future do POO)
the think is, shall i do the “certified full stack developer curriculum” or with the “Responsive web desing” and “javascript algorithms and data structures” is enought? thanks for your time.

  1. Build projects ( good quality ) keep them updated on your GitHub profile
  2. Learning course on FCC is just 10% work done ( trust me )
  3. Rest 90% painful process is building loads and loads of projects
  4. Then only jump into freelancing or goto VC website and apply to their startups

no, it’s not enough, aim to finish the full stack curriculum

If your goal is to do freelancing, I’d start with a freelancer website and look at what postings/jobs are being asked and at what price. This will give you an idea of what is being asked for at what price and roughly what it looks like out there.

Generally knowing only some front-end is not enough to get freelancer jobs, even if your at near free, or outright free working. This also doesn’t include anythin in regards to getting jobs for freelancing itself, such as writing proposals, getting requirements, and just interacting with clients you already have. Its a tough space where your not only the only developer, but also the project-manager, HR, tech-support, marketing, sales, etc. It isn’t easy, and its even less easy to do it effectively to get work, and even harder to do it in a way to make it worth your time in the end (full time or even on the side).

This is all in comparison to just doing the work to learn, and do it enough to get a normal job.

Good luck, keep learning, keep building :+1:
