A friend has asked me to build him a web-app/site. I’m looking for some general advice on where and what I should focus on. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
The project in question is a sort of student study guide. My friend is a teacher and has already created a Wordpress blog which hosts various guides split across different year sub groups. He wants to move the guides across to an app which he can offer as a subscription service. He’d like to be able to easily and conveniently update the guides whenever he needs to.
Where should I start here? I’ve some experience with JS, Vue, React, Java, API’s, Express, MongoDB, Node etc - all from short projects built during a bootcamp. I’d like to go into the project with a nice solid plan and build it out from a simple and functional MVP. I realise this is a bit of a broad question, but I’d like to avoid going down a weird path that’ll end up a waste of time!
