I am stuck at the last step, which reads STARTING VIRTUAL SERVER, of the * Loading remote environment*.
These are the steps that I tried to try to resolve the issue:
- I have reloaded the page several times.
- I also opened a new tab without closing the previous tab, but still no good,
What steps do I have to take to resolve this issue. I have been stuck for the past two days as I am writing about this.
hello and welcome to fcc forum
have you tried this from any other browsers?
I am able to access the courses right now, but they can take several minutes to load.
If you open another tab and try to load up a new course (i.e. one you havenāt yet started), that can sometimes āunstickā the āStarting Virtual Serverā step, as it generates a new user token and recycles the VM.
Yeah but no good.
It worked for some time, earlier during the day, but as at the time of writing this, the server is down again

Sorry to hear that you are stuck at the last step, which shows āSTARTING VIRTUAL SERVERā in the remote environment loading. You have tried several things to solve the problem, such as reloading the page several times and opening a new tab without closing the previous one, but still no positive results. Here are some steps you could take to try to solve the problem:
Try clearing your browserās cache and reloading the page. Sometimes data stored in the cache can cause problems.
Check your Internet connection to make sure it is stable. It is possible that the problem is related to a slow or unstable connection.
If possible, try another browser or device to see if the problem is related to that.
Contact the technical support or customer service of the provider where you are loading the virtual server environment. They will be able to give you specific instructions or help you with troubleshooting.
Hopefully one of these steps will help you resolve the problem. If not, I would recommend that you contact technical support directly, as they have the knowledge to help you. Good luck!
Hi people,
Iām experiencing same glitch on relational-database course on wind desktops. Tried different browsers, computers, and/or virtual desktops(Linux environment).
Everything was ok on my desktop, completed first two projects, but I had to relocate and tried from laptop, thatās where issue started. Had to set enable third-party cookies again on mozilla. Couldnāt skip codeally loop signin on other explorers, only mozilla accepted Run with codeally. But now Iām stuck on last step. GitHub reporting
Deleted completed projects from CodeAlly playground.
*Github revoking OAuth tokenā¦dont know is it normal
Do I have to run project locally or I can manage this working ?
Ah, being stuck at that āStarting Virtual Serverā step can really throw a wrench in things, huh? I feel your frustration. It reminds me of this one time I was trying to set up a virtual server for a project I was working on.
