What should i do?

So, my dream jobbs is to be

game dev
AI, ML & Data science
Cyber security

So should i still do all steps here. or is it waste of time? and if it’s not waste of time why is it not

h

the curriculum focuses on web development, if you are not interested in that you could find part of the curriculum useful, but you may also want to search other sources

Those are some epic career goals! Game dev, AI/ML, and cybersecurity all share key skills like coding, problem-solving, and data analysis, so every step you take builds a solid foundation. It’s definitely not a waste of time! Learning these skills opens doors to multiple opportunities, and along the way, you’ll discover what excites you the most. Focus on coding (Python, C++, Java), algorithms, and security basics, and you’ll be in a great spot no matter which path you choose. Keep pushing forward—your future self will thank you!

So, you are telling me that i should still doing these steps?

What do you mean with curriculum. So, the freecodecamp is just focusing on web dev?

Should i focus still on all the steps and follow the steps till i have done everything. So, i get the basics?

Or should i choose selected ones to have like some basic so i can work as
AI, ML or cybersecurity? Like should i found maybe some other homepage. Or what should i do? like what is the roadmap to be it?
Because if the steps one buy one does not give me noting to be does things i mention, then i was time or what?

there is written “core curriculum” exactly above the Responsive Web Design
that focuses on web dev

it is being replaced by the Certified Full Stack Developer Curriculum

If you are not interested in web dev you should not follow the core curriculum
you may find something interesting, depending on what you are interested in, like the Python cert, or the C# cert

If English is not your first language you could also find English for Developers useful

but if you are not interested in web dev, I do not suggest you do all this, but find other material to focus on.

Maybe Harvard’s CS50 course, which is an introduction to Computer Science, and then you decide where to go after the basics

Yeah, but does it mean all does curse from 1 to 12 is for web dev even 8 and 11 and 12?
So, that you mean is the hole curses here is for web dev?
But is not like the pyton good for me to learn for cybersecurity or AI/ML? So, you telling me i can then do the pyhon cert?

Try the information security Certification course for it’s like cybersecurity, it offers a course using information Security with HelmetJS, and then (Used by Ethical Hackers) penetration testing with Python.

without knowing NodeJS and Python it’s a big jump

the whole course is for web dev, yes, but you may find useful some parts of it
depending on your interests python could be useful for you for example

Can you explain it more? why is it big jump? where do people start to learn does 2?

if you don’t know the basics of a language, it would be really confusing to learn advanced topics on that language

for NodeJS it’s the JavaScript certification, then the Backend certification
for Python, it’s the scientific computing with python certification

So, can you tell me witch number on the list i should start with ? like nr 2 or nr 8 ?
this first?

or witch one of them all ?

  1. Goto Google and search “game dev job description”

  2. repeat above step with “game dev jobs in city XYZ”

  3. Based on this info, you can choose appropriate learning path

Make sure to build sufficient projects during & after learning phase, “building” is 90% of work and “learning” is just 10%

During “building” phase make sure to use GitHub extensively as well. YT has got great video on GitHub from FCC

All the very best

you can learn whatever you want

First be clear what you want to be. You listed 4 career options as your dream

I created a similar post today and I have similar interests mainly gearing towards game dev. By any chance do they have certs for related to C++ on here?
