There are tons of great tools out there, software or hardware. If I had to pick just one to recommend, it would be Typora, a quiet and minimal Markdown editor that does nothing but let you write. You type, it renders. That’s it.
What’s the one tool that feels like it was made for you?
Mine would be Grammarly and Papago. Grammarly was my writing companion long before the AI era. I don’t use it as much anymore, but it helped me improve my English and gave me the confidence to write. I’ll always have a soft spot for it. Papago is the tool I still rely on every day because I work across Korean, Japanese, and English, constantly switching between them. It’s become an essential part of my workflow.
Hugo. Minimalist architecture, lightning fast, and awesome i18n features (which I often need). It’s not just my favorite static site generator. It’s my favorite tool I’ve ever used since I started programming.
