What's wrong with login?

Hi, a year ago I registered using Github and completed some Python certification project. This week I logged back in and was surprised to see that my account looked “new”. I had no username and my Python progress was not showing up.

I tried all the ways to login but none of them had my data. However today I have seen that when I login to the forum using Github it is as if my original account was being used! While in the curriculum the new one is used.

The truth is that I do not understand anything, I attach screenshots:

Any solution to this?

Did you change the email account associated with your GitHub? Free Code Camp accounts are associated with email addresses.

I don’t remember changing it but in that case I would enter different accounts in forum and cv?

Welcome there,

I am not sure what you mean by this.

The forum and freecodecamp.org/learn page are separate, with regards to account. In freeCodeCamp’s records, an account is specified through an email address.

So, if you want to log in to an account, you need to use the same email address (whether that be through Email login, GitHub, or Google OAuth).

There is a small chance you have a duplicated account. To solve this issue you will need to write to support@freecodecamp.org. However, I recommend you ensure you cannot get to the intended account through your original email address, before emailing.

You can read more about the issue here

Hope this helps
