Great job! I think it would look better if the text input was bigger. Also, I expected it to search when I clicked on the magnifying glass after typing in my query, so that might be a good UX improvement. Lastly, when I think about the relative importance of each of the website’s features, I would imagine that the random article link should be less visually important in the site. I would reduce the size of the font, place it below the search field, and increase the font of the search text. But that’s just me, and if I knew what I was doing, I’d be a much richer person.
