When I try to make a help post, and it asks me to look and see if my question has already been answered in a different post, it searches with the format:
workshop example code project Step 15
The “workshop” prefix on the search makes it so no results come up, so I have to delete it to get results. This just takes up time and is not helpful. Could someone fix this?
it’s not an error, no one else has opened a topic for the shopping cart workshop yet. The Full Stack curriculum has become the main curriculum only a couple of days ago, so most topics open are for the now legacy curriculum
IIRC there was always a problem like this with the old curriculum as well. The search would have -
between words but the titles wouldn’t so it never worked.
In this case here is a recent shopping cart post:
https://forum.freecodecamp.org/t/build-a-shopping-cart-step-11/739098
uh, now that maybe needs an issue. The research should use the same name as the topic title
If I click search it adds “workshop” and when I create the new topic it’s Capital Case without workshop.
exactly, it takes the title value from a different place, it would need to be equalized.
sorry @m.hawk.fam I did expect the two things to use the same text
I will open a bug report for this
I have opened an issue for this:
Thank you. I hope this can get fixed.
