You Don't Know JS

Hi everybody. I have a question about YDKJS book series.
My question is:
Is the person who finished FreeCodeCamp’s part of JS, codecademy js course and udacity “Intro to JS” is ready for those books or it requires some more deep understanding before then just intros and basics?
Thanks in advance for advise.

I think that anyone who can write a simple JavaScript program should get into those books.

Yes, there may be parts of the book that you don’t quite understand yet, but that’s OK. Just getting exposed to these things will gradually get you closer. And there are a lot of other things that will fill in little gaps in your knowledge.
