Account suddenly cleared and lost 2 certifications; mobile bugs too

I tried logging in to my account with one of the social media sign in options (github) and was given an entirely new profile. When I tried again with the google sign in option it directed me to the new profile as well. Then I tried a basic email login that sent me a verification code; and this also redirected me to the new account. However, I already had an account with this email (@psychobiomachine), completed 2 legacy certifications, and many completed exercises from the frontend development libraries and python certifications in the current curriculum.

This might be related but on the mobile app I’m logged into the same account. My profile information is there, much of the work I’ve done in JS and python appears in the completed steps of the new curriculum as well. However, my JS certification is missing and none of the progress gets updated when I complete an exercise.

Is this email address associated with the `psychobiomachine` username? If it’s linked to your new account, then I don’t think it’s the same email address that was used for that username.

Try logging out and then logging back in.

There’s a bug where your session has expired but the app doesn’t log you out automatically. It still shows you as logged in, but your progress won’t be saved.

I’m sorry this is frustrating. I ran into this issue myself, but we have not been able to reproduce it consistently and to identify the root cause.
