Check your transcript url and make sure it’s from the “Share Link” location and not just the URL from your address bar for your main transcript page. There are distinctions between the two because only one is publicly accessible.
Success, I should earn Trophy instead of only a Badge. ![]()
-
Complete the whole modules under “Write your first code using C# (Get started with C#, Part 1)” learning path on Microsoft Learn (7 modules)
-
Make sure you earn Trophy not Badge
Trophy
Badge
- Go to your Microsoft learn profile create the share link
hope this can help
I have completed the course and in freecodecamp and in the microsoft. I got the badge in microsoft but i cant get the trophy from freecodecamp. Why is this happening?
I get this error code “We were unable to verify your trophy from Microsoft’s learning platform.”?
Thanks for your time
So I believe the issue we are facing is that we haven’t completed all modules in this particular training? Once this is complete then we get a trophy.
It’s because you didn’t earn your trophy.
Complete all Microsoft modules, step by step and you’ll get your trophy.
Your trophy would show in the trophy tab as well.
Once you have your trophy, verify it.
yeah. Now I found it. It was my bad. Every single question had its own microsoft course. I only made the first one and then I thought the rest was the same. Thank you very much
You will need to complete all the training on Microsoft Learn before you have earned your trophy.
- Each Course on FCC has several steps. Each step links to a different training module on Microsoft Learn.
For example, the “Write your first code using C#” course has 7 modules that you will need to complete. They are:
- Write your first C# code
- Store and retrieve data using literal and variable values in C#
- Perform basic string formatting in C#
- Perform basic operations on numbers in C#
- Guided project - Calculate and print student grades
- Guided project - Calculate final GPA
Each of these modules has a different link to an MS Learn module ![]()
-
You will need to complete the training on MS Learn for each module. This means you will need to view each step and answer any comprehension questions that appear. You can check if an MS Learn module is complete by seeing that every step will have a checkmark and the point value at the top will be green.
Note: If a step is missing a checkmark, it may be because you did not answer a comprehension question that appeared at that step.
This will earn you a badge for that module but not a trophy. To earn the trophy, you must complete the remaining modules in the Course. -
After you complete a module, do the comprehension question on freeCodeCamp. This will complete that module. And you will see the check mark.
-
The key to remember is that you must repeat this for the remaining modules in that course to earn the trophy

Once you have completed ALL the modules, you should see the trophy appear on the transcript page.
I hope this is helpful! Apologies for the lack of pictures - I’m only able to post 1 photo because I am a new user
Actually the post returns a status code 500, so I think they first have to solve this server error ![]()
Linked my account but have the same error
Complete the learning path on microsoft learning platform so you can unlock your trophy on freecodecamp.
Perfect, That was the solution, thanks.
Same problem here. I completed the module on the Microsoft website and successfully linked my account with freeCodeCamp, yet it still gives me this message:
I do the same and it works!
